• High-Grade Carbide: Sturdy 1/2" shanks and precision balancing ensure stability while routing, while the high-grade carbide provides a long cutting life.
• Set up and Make the Cope Cuts: You can make the profile/groove cuts in the rail and style router bit set first, but we recommend that you start with the cope cuts. That way, the long edges are still flat and square, and you can use a flat-edged backer board to prevent tear-out at the end of the cut.
• Instructions to Follow for Shaker Cabinet Doors: Use only in a table-mounted router at reduced RPMs. Do not bottom out router bits in your router collet. Allow at least a 1/8" gap between the bottom of the bit shank and the bottom of the router collet. Keep hands clear of the router bit. Wear eye protection at all times.
