This dancing Pee-wee Herman bobblehead is part of Royal Bobbles' collection of entertainment icons. Pee-wee Herman is a fictional comic character that is portrayed by American comedian Paul Reubens. The name "Pee-wee" came from the name of a miniature harmonica brand. Pee-wee's television debut occurred on The Dating Game in 1979 and by 1980, The Pee-wee Herman Show was in full swing and had a lot more adult humor than his children's shows. In 1985, the movie Pee-wee's Big Adventure, Pee-wee travels across the United States in search of his stolen bicycle. The film (now on DVD) grossed over $40 million dollars in North America and was followed by 2 sequels: Big Top Pee-wee (1988) and Pee-wee's Big Holiday (2016). In 1986, Pee-wee's Playhouse was born. It is a beloved Saturday morning children's program that stayed on television for the next 5 years and was given 15 Emmy Awards. This bobblehead shows Pee-wee Herman with his iconic short black hair and pale skin with blush. He is also wearing his well-known gray glen plaid suit, white shirt, and small red bow tie.
