• WHATS INCLUDED? The Roman Ballista catapult kit comes with all parts precut and ready to assemble to build a working model Ballista. Model kit includes 3 wooden madalion projectiles.

• WHAT DOES IT DO ? Based on drawings and written records (but not here-say – we only use facts in our historical kits!), this Ballista re-creates the way in which torsion powered weapons worked, and can fire the small wooden projectiles over 15 feet!
• WHAT DO I LEARN? The Ballista is an excellent learning reasource for many educational learning lessons. Learn about medieval weapons engineering and design, simple machines, ancient inventions, siege engines and historical battles and Greek inventions.

A working re-creation of a Roman Ballista Finished model approximately 270mm x 180mm. Kit contains: 13 wood pieces, 17 dowels, string, 3 soft foam tipped wood projectiles, 10 die cut wood pieces, 6 rubber o-rings, sandpaper, glue, string and great instructions . Great for beginner model makers.
