The arrival of a new U.D.O. album is always an event. Since the breakup of Accept and the forming of U.D.O. in 1987, Udo Dirkschneider (vocals) and Stefan Kaufmann (guitar) have kept alive the no-compromise spirit of 80's Heavy Metal with both conviction and force. "Rev-Raptor" is no outcast to the high quality Heavy Metal tradition that U.D.O. are so famous for and follows up 2009's critiacally acclaimed "Dominatior" as yet another classic in their catalogue. In this era of intense speed of change and trend-grubbing, one can always set their clock to U.D.O. to release yet another slab of pure Heavy Metal excellence. U.D.O. would have it no other way.
