First time on CD for this album from the legendary vocalist. Alberta Hunter was a Blues and Jazz singer whose recordings spanned most of the 20th century. She started recording in 1921 but gained her biggest fame with the album Remember My Name. Recorded for Columbia Records in 1978, it is the official soundtrack for the film of the same name.
