Reflexivity and Qualitative Research

Reflexivity is an important topic for qualitative researchers to consider and to experiment with. I believe that all researchers, no matter which methods and perspectives they use, must be reflexive if their research is to be credible. That researchers influence research processes and research processes influence researchers are givens in the hard sciences and in the social sciences. This article discusses the importance of engaging in activities that increase self-awareness and awareness of research processes. <br />
