ITW's large diameter tapcons (LDT) are high performance anchors that cut their threads into concrete. The product comes in one piece, making it easier to use than wedge anchors, which require assembly of a nut and washer. According to the manufacturer, there is no torching or grinding required and installation is less than half the time of wedge anchors. Each anchor is stamped with the length. Recommended use with carbide tipped hammer drill bits.
