(CD + DVD) Guitarist James Williamson, famously of The Stooges in their <b>Raw Power</b>-era (and also as part of their recent reunion) revisits Stooges material with a whole slew of vocalists (both male and female) doing the Iggy parts! Among the vocalists are such varied singers as Jello Biafra, Carolyn Wonderland, Mark Lanegan, Lisa Kekaula, Ariel Pink, J.G. Thirlwell, and several others listed below. It's an amazing recapturing of the fire and energy that was The Stooges!<p>This 2-disc release features a 6-panel digipack sleeve plus 24-page booklet of liner notes and pictures of the artists and musicians who participated in the making of the album. Disc one is the 16 track CD (the ten tracks of the vinyl album plus six great bonus tracks). Disc two is a 35 minute DVD that is almost entirely an in-studio making-of film, with candid shots of most of the singers and musicians, as well as three video teasers for the album. This release is also available in a special package including the 16-track CD, the 35-minute DVD, and the original 10-track Vinyl LP.
