I love going to church, but I sometimes find myself fidgeting and wishing for something to do with my hands during the message. So I draw and doodle. Drawing is a great way to process sermons and stories AND it helps me listen better. I was surprised to find this connection of art to the spoken word was not just a "busy hands" exercise for me, but also something that inspires others. What a joy it has been to share a different way to listen to a teacher's words!
