The Urges formed in a Dublin garage, with the desire to write stripped down rock and roll. Surfacing in 2004, the band has built a following with regular gigs and festival appearances through Europe, opening for the likes of Billy Childish, The Buzzcocks, Babyshambles, Paul Weller, The Pretty Things and the Chesterfield Kings. <br><br>The Urges debut album, PSYCH WARD, has been a favorite on Little Steven s Underground Garage radio show. In 2008, Wicked Cool released a completely re-mastered version of the album, with an exclusive bonus track: Jenny Jenny.
