Product Description

Polymaker Polysher - Post Processing Device to Smooth Print Surface with IPA Alcohol for PolySmooth PVB 3D Printer Filament & PolyCast 3D Printing Filament

  • Post-Processing Machine: The Polymaker Polysher is designed for polishing extrusion-based FDM/FFF 3D printed parts made with PolySmooth, achieving a shiny, layer-free surface finish.
  • Safe & Easy to Use: The Polymaker Polysher utilizes nebulizer technology, which involves no heating and requires only a small liquid reservoir. This liquid-phase polishing process is safer than vapor-phase polishing, with all electronic components sealed to prevent sparks inside the chamber. Simply place it on your desk, twist the dial to set the time, and the post-processing will start and end automatically.
  • Low Costs: The Polymaker Polysher is both affordable and has a very low operating cost. It can use isopropyl alcohol (isopropanol) or ethanol, allowing you to choose the option that is more readily available to you.
  • NOT A 3D Printer: The Polymaker Polysher is not a 3D printer. You will need an extrusion-based FDM/FFF 3D printer to use our products. PolySmooth is a filament you can print with your 3D printer, similar to PLA. After printing, you can use the Polysher to achieve an impressive surface finish. Watch our Polysher video on YouTube for more details.

You still need an extrusion-based, FDM/FFF printer in order to use our new products. Specifically, PolySmooth is a new filament that you can print with your 3D printer, just like how you print with your PLA. Once the printing is done, you can post-process your printed objects in the Polysher to obtain the amazing surface finish. You can watch our campaign video or read the project description for more details. <br><b>2. Can I use PLA or ABS parts in the Polysher?</b> <br>Answer 2: The Polysher is designed to only work with PolySmooth and alcohol; in addition PLA and ABS are not polishable with alcohol. We do not recommend other liquids/solvents other than isopropanol or ethanol.
