This handy-sized guide is drawn from the extensively revised edition of Jackson's Silver and Gold Marks of England, Scotland and Ireland , published by the Antique Collectors' Club in 1989. Ever since its publication in 1905, English Goldsmiths and Their Marks , or Jackson's , has been the bible for scholars, dealers and collectors, selling in hundreds of thousands.
