- Approximately 4-5″ long measured at the longest points, roughly 2-3" wide and 2-3" tall
- These are real specimens so variations in color, shape, and spine position should be expected
- The shell of this species is globose and strong, ornamented with blunt spines and a circular aperture. The outer part of the shell is cream with shades of gray, brown, or pink. The interior of the shell and the aperture is pale or deep pink and glossy
- The Pink Murex seashell species Hexaplex erthrostomus lives in the intertidal and subtidal zones in sandy areas n the west coast of Mexico from Baja California to Peru
Pink Murex Seashells, or Phyllonotus erythrostomus, are great accent pieces because of their distinctive pink and tan elements that are unique to each shell. They can be used for a variety of decorative purposes. Shells may have small holes which are a natural imperfection. You will receive one shell that is approximately 3"- 4" similar to the one pictured.
