Rye berries have been the choice grain spawn of mycologist for decades. Known for their wonderful consistency and resistance to contamination, properly prepared rye berries are second to none for healthy mycelium growth. We fortify our rye berries during the soak. By adding sulfur,calcium and coffee. We enhance the performance of the rye berries as a substrate. In fact, they are so nutritious you can just case the colonized grains or fruit right in the bag! We don't have homemade or fancy bought injector points on our mycobags because they are a waste of money. We put a small piece of special tape where you can inject your spores. Just wipe the injection point with rubbing alcohol and inject. Then you simply place any piece of tape over the injection point and you're done. This greatly reduces the production cost which in turn enables us to sell our product at a far less price then competitors without sacrificing quality. Not to mention more often than not procedures are overly complicated just to look important. In mycology simpler is better.
