Use the included masking strips to create a specific detection pattern, if desired. In this way, the 40 X 50 Outdoor PIR w/Double Conductive Shield can be used as a pet immune motion detector or can capture motion only in specific spots. Sensitivity can also be set at high, medium, or low. This motion detector has an adjustable day/night mode that you can set depending on the ambient brightness of the surrounding area. Set the sensor to function 24 hours a day, only during certain hours, or only after dark.
