The album was recorded at Armoury Studios (Vancouver, BC) and Silo Recordings (Hamilton, ON) and is co-produced by Alexisonfire, alongside Julius "Juice" Butty who produced both the 'Watch Out!' and 'Crisis' albums. limited initial pressing of 'Old Crows/ Young Cardinals comes in a lavish digipak with an Australia/ NZ bonus cut 'Wayfarer Youth'. Of this initial pressing, there is an extremely limited number of copies containing a bonus, Australian only embroidered Alexisonfire cloth patch.
