Crowbar's debut album, considered to be their signature sound, is still heralded by many as their finest work to date. Out of print since 1994!<br><br>Crowbar was born in 1992 when the band was signed to the Chicago based independent label Grind Core Records. The band packed up their gear and drove up to Chicago from NOLA, and recorded their debut record at Studio 53 in Palatine, Illinois. <br><br>Shortly after the release of OBEDIENCE THRU SUFFERING the band's sound was labeled Doom-Core by the European press. OBEDIENCE THRU SUFFERING launched the genre.<br><br>Since 1992, Crowbar has released 8 full length albums, the second selling over 100,000 units worldwide.
