Newton Motion VII Women's Running Shoe Updated substantially for 2018, the Motion delivers the most stable, smooth and versatile ride possible. Engineered Mesh Upper The upper of the Motion VII Women's Running Shoes are constructed of a durable, breathable engineered mesh that wraps your feet in breathable comfort. The mesh allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously forcing out hot muggy air. In addition, the upper features 4-way stretch metatarsal panels that allows you to move freely without encountering any restrictions. The panels come into play especially during long runs and your feet start to swell, preventing the shoes from restricting and making the overall ride uncomfortable. Additional strapping in the upper offers full foot stability and retains structural integrity, providing a better and more comfortable fit. The tongue features a flexible mesh for the optimal blend of comfort and performance, while a pre-moulded heel counter created better form and fit. The heel counter combines and works in tandem with the lace locking system to lock the heel in place, preventing in shoe slipping. Lastly, the upper features 360-degree reflectivity enhancing your visibility during low-light conditions. Newtonium Foam Midsole The midsole of the Newton Motion VII features Newton's very own Newtonium. The foam cushioning provides a more responsive cushioning and closer to the foot, whilst the action/reaction technology in the midfoot and heel provides exceptional energy return. The POP technology stands for Point Of Power, the energy created from your heel strike and midstance is stored in the lugs as you land, then as you step away the lugs act like a rubber band and provide you with a highly responsive pop, pushing you off into your next step.
