Malachite is great for jewelry, bone, or woodworking inlay. The product is sold in exactly 0.5 ounce units. This material is considered to be very fine to powder (silt size). This malachite is from the Congo Region, which is known for its large, bright green malachite specimens. This product is NOT man-made, mixed with resin, or stabilized. Please be careful when buying mineral inlay since most products have a caveat in fine writing that states that this stone might be man-made, mixed with resin, or is made from TruStone (plain stone mixed with dyed resin to make the product seem authentic and is allowed to be called natural). Stone authenticity is extremely important to all artisans; therefore, we strive to validate the source of all our minerals before they are processed.
