They were originally introduced by the US military and became very popular during the Vietnam War, offering added warmth in the milder nights. </p><p>They are easily attached to the poncho, by passing the ties of the liner through the eyelets of the poncho. They can also be used as a lightweight blanket or ground mat, and can also be attached to a poncho using the ties on the liner to create an emergency sleeping bag.</p><p>These brand new liners are based on the originals, and are made from a 100% polyester Rip Stop material. They measure 2.1m x 1.5m, and come with a travel bag for portability.</p>
