The ET5 Metal Stud Punch is manufactured in the US by Pipe-Tytes, Inc. Original Design; other manufactures liked it so much, they use it too! Cuts a 1-11/32 inch hole into metal studs up to 22 gauge. All parts are replaceable and available (are not interchangeable with other manufacturers punches) Made of high strength aluminum alloy. Cutter and die are case hardened steel. Pipe-Tytes, Inc. ET5 has an extended throat that goes 3-1/2 inches deep into stud. It has good leverage for easy punching. The offset handle gets into tight places. Rubber grips make for non-slip work. Also available are Pipe-Tytes Insulators for Metal Studs for 1/2", 3/4" & 1" copper tubing.
