Ben Shaw was a postman, cheerful and happy-go-lucky- without a care in the world.<br />One day Ben’s grandmother became ill and began to say some very strange things. After her death Ben’s mother asked him to trace her family tree, to try and trace a mystery. With the help of his sister, Carol and friend, Gillian he starts to search.<br />Ben soon became totally engrossed in his new and fascinating hobby until two attempts were made on his life,<br />He then turned to his grandfather, Andrew Shaw, the retired Head of Special Branch, for his advice and to help solve two murders which had taken place half a century ago.
