One piece is a hollowed out steel stud (about 25mm/1 inch long) that holds the log, the other is a 19mm/0.75 inch nut with a Neodymium magnet and o-ring to keep it stuck firmly to a steel object through the worst weather conditions while keeping your log dry. Hide it on the side of a remote road or at the busiest of bus stops in the city.
