M3 Personnel Carrier Half-track 1/32 Scale Plastic Model (Kit, assembly required)

The 1/32 scale model of the M3A2 (M3 Half-track) Half-track vehicle measures about 7.5 inches in length with a width of about 2.5 inches and 2 inches high (from the ground to the top of the wind shield. They are not your typical building kit where one needs to cut pieces out of runners/trees, but instead they come as disassembled toys where one needs to attach the parts with screws (screws and screw driver are included). This is a plastic model. No metal parts are present (except of course, the little screws). The tracks are made of rubber and very nicely detailed. The assembly method allows for the tracks to be movable. I noticed that the bottom part of the model has what would be a battery compartment and also a slot where an on/off switch would be. This leads me to think that at one time, the original plan was to make these toys battery operated, but it is not the case with this model. From the photos you can see that different tools, grills. spare wheels, hatches, etc are nicely molded and makes the model look quite realistic. No gluing or painting is needed. Markings and different color trims are present in some models and accurately done. These models look fine out of the box, however they can still be weathered/detailed to make them look even better.
