Joyous Daye is a gorgeous 27-year-old pastry chef with a thriving business. She has a three-year-old daughter with her disgusting boyfriend, Derrick “Souljah” James. So now that Joyous has someone better, it’s time that she takes that away too. Will they succeed? Of course, she broke things off and vowed to stay away from him, only Samantha didn’t know she was pregnant at the time. Cortez was thrilled but of course, his wife, Gloria, was not. She hates Joyous and hates her mother even more. For years, she felt that she had to compete with Joyous and Samantha, whom she knew her husband still loved very much. Even though Cortez betrayed her all those years ago, her husband was not aware of the dark secret she was keeping and taking with her to the grave.
