In 1989 at the age of 8, Natasha St-Pier went on stage for a local singing contest in Canada. She stated that she did not realize at such a young age that singing was a true career. "I must have wanted to have been a singer one day, and a firefighter the next" she claimed. However, in 2001 St-Pier became widely known in the Francophone world with "A chacun son histoire". That same year, she represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest with her hit single "Je n'ai que mon ame". This is the 2006 studio album from the popular Quebecoise singer.
