- RELIABLE ADHESION. This high temp silicone sealant works on all metals, including passive substrates (e.g. stainless steel, aluminum, plated surfaces). Resists cracking, shrinking & migrating.
- FLEXES WITH MOVEMENT. Enhances load bearing & shock absorbing characteristics of the bond area.
- MULTI-USE. Valve covers, rocker covers, oil pans, water pumps, end seals, intake manifolds, and rear axle housing as well as industrial furnaces, ovens, etc.
- CONVENIENT CURING. Tack-free in 1 hour. Full-strength in 24 hours.
- LOCTITE 596 RTV RED SILICONE replaces almost any cut gasket or coat pre-cut gaskets to increase reliability.
