Traditionally, the holidays are a time to take a moment to reflect on the accomplishments of the past year and to contemplate the challenges that lie ahead. The United States Air Force Band and Singing Sergeants recorded this album in order to celebrate the holiday season. Light One Candle is a collection of holiday favorites in special arrangements by the Band's music production staff. This recording features many holiday classics like " O Tannenbaum" and "Hark the Herald Angels Sing", as well as some lesser-known treasures like "Coventry Carol". Through the gift of music on this album, the United States Air Force Band and Singing Sergeants seek to remind the listener that they continue to carry a candle of freedom to all corners of the globe, where men and women in our armed forces remain deployed, working for peace on earth. Light One Candle includes the wonderful music that is characteristic of a time celebrated with traditional family gatherings, laughter and singing.
