These lid supports are spring-loaded and easily mount on the inside of the lid and box. Touch-control cam action keeps lid open and steady; no fear of it banging down unexpectedly on small hands. Great for toy chests and other drop lid pieces like hope chests, window seats, storage chests, and stereo cabinets.
