The K'NEX Education Elementary Math & Geometry set allows students to build, investigate and explore geometry concepts, vocabulary, and structures in a 2-D and 3-D world. The students live in a 3-D world, so it makes sense for them to connect with geometry on a 3-D level. K'NEX allows students in grades 1-3 do just that! This K'NEX Education Set includes 142 K'NEX parts, building instructions, and a comprehensive Teacher's Guide, all packaged in a strong plastic tray with a snap-on lid for easy classroom storage. There's enough parts to build 38 K'NEX Math models, and it supports 3-4 students working as a team. The teacher's guide, designed as a resource, provides a glossary of key terms and definitions and includes Vocabulary Card masters to support instruction and understanding. The activities are standards based and designed around best practices in mathematics instruction. They build upon one another as they lead students towards a greater understanding of mathematics and geometric concepts. This set is aligned to national standards and Common Core Mathematics.
