Corrosion and thread damage are not un-common thus nut removal can be a challenge especially when the bolt starts to spin. Unlike conventional tools the flat blade easily slips in below the nut and grips the bolt. The Patented "Micro Tooth" blade locks the bolt in place as you work off the nut.
