It can be used to enhance the filtering performance of sand and cartridge filters as well. The Filter Fiber Stuff is non-toxic, making it safe to handle and store. It can also be backwashed safely as it is biodegradable. The Filter Fiber Stuff extends filter runs, reduces filter clogging, and results in sparkling clear water of the highest quality. Product Dosage D.E. Filters: 1 D.E. Scoop per 12 sq ft of filter area. Cartridge Filters: 3 oz per 25 sq ft of filter area. Sand Filters: 3 oz at a time with a max of 9 oz Directions For optimal performance The Filter Fiber Stuff should be applied as a slurry. Due to its highly concentrated properties, it is important not to overdose by more than a few ounces of The Filter Fiber Stuff in any pool filter.
