Limited vinyl LP pressing. Issued in 1969 by Doctor Bird Records early on the company's Pyramid subsidiary, Israelites came hot on the heels of Desmond Dekker's international smash hit of the same name. Such was the extent of Dekker's global success, the album was licensed to companies around the world, seeing issue on a variety of different imprints and with a diverse array of sleeve designs. Yet despite the popularity of the LP, it has remained unavailable since it's original release, almost half a century ago. Now at long last, reggae fans can once again own a brand new copy of this hugely popular and significant album. This faithful reproduction of the original UK issue has been mastered from the best available analogue source and is pressed on the highest quality vinyl.
