A Solid-Cast Iron Slide Bolt that can be used as a decorative and useful latch for gates, doors, shutters, windows garages, barns, sheds, and more. It is used to manually latch and close a variety of doors and hinged products. Includes mounting hardware for an easy installation that will make for a unique and wonderful addition to any piece. Because this product is Cast Iron it will eventually rust if exposed to water or extreme outside environments. We have powder coated the entire product to prevent this as long as possible but take care to prevent scratches and damage that might speed up the formation of rust. Oiling the slide bolt can help delay this process.
