Despite the smog-damaged ruins of it’s once glorious past, Athens can be proud of it’s remarkable and exemplary Metal scene and of it’s leading band, Inner Wish, in particular. Formed in 1995, Inner Wish have a varied and acclaimed past behind them, touring with U.D.O., Helloween, Anathema, Therion, amongst others, as well as having their last album, 2004’s Silent Faces, chart at #9 on the Japanese Import charts. Their sound is pure, 100% driving Melodic Power Metal in the classic sense. Inner Strength is yet another intelligent and exciting Inner Wish release, recorded in Germany with R.D. Liapakis (Mystic Prophecy, Valley's Eve, David Chastain, Jack Starr's Guardians Of The Flames) in The Prophecy and Music Factory Studios.
