With his classically trained ear and influences from Ben Folds and Billy Joel in hand, Jon McLaughlin has crafted a unique piano-driven rock sound that has delighted audiences at over 200 shows nationwide. On his debut album, Jon gives the listener a look at dealing with the ups and downs of life from his point of view, bringing new life to the phrase piano-rock, and making you wish life could always sound this beautiful. Just as he finished recording Indiana, McLaughlin scored a role in the forthcoming summer 2007 Disney animated/live action comedy Enchanted, starring Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams. The first single from Indiana, the undeniably powerful Beautiful Disaster, will also be featured in the upcoming Garry Marshall film Georgia Rule (out May 11, starring Lindsey Lohan and Jane Fonda). Jon spent 3 full months on the road prior to release doing shows with singer-songwriter Matt Wertz while tackling a very heavy promo schedule. Jon's talent is as equally impressive in the studio as it is live, where his passionate performance skills and down-home charm absolutely convert each and every audience member into a Jon McLaughlin fan. Jon will continue to tour throughout the summe and fall of 2007.
