From his roots in gospel music to his current career in topping the Country music charts, Josh Turner definitely knows how to use his voice. After vocal training classes in college where he met his wife, Turner moved on to take on the Nashville scene and begin a lucrative livelihood. With number one hits like Your Man and the recent Why Don't We Just Dance, Turner has consistently graced the charts with those solid offerings since his 2001 debut at the Grand Ole Opry with Long Black Train a single that stayed on the Billboard country chart s for 40-plus weeks, peaked at No. 13 and was awarded a gold record certification. That auspicious debut saw Turner become the second youngest member of the Opry in 2007.
