Youthful Praise and worship leader, James JJ Hairston, have traveled the world, ministered the gospel, and have garnered national and international recognition. With 20 years in the ministry, YP has undoubtedly learned to trust what God has done and will continue to do for them.<br>Founded in 1992, the choir was birthed out of their home church, Cathedral of Praise in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where the group remains as one of the church s choirs. As their ministry grew they began singing background for artists such as Destiny s Child, Pastor Shirley Caesar, and SWV, to name a few. <br>Since their initial foray into professional music ministry, Hairston and YP have enjoyed many successes, such as countless awards, numerous national television appearances and several hit songs and album releases. <br>J.J. Hairston and Youthful Praise is heralded as one of the premiere praise and worship groups in the gospel arena. The newest offering Bless Me features powerhouse vocalist Donnie McClurkin and delivers a soul stirring message of belief in the blessings of God. Bless Me celebrates the blessings of our fellow man as well as the blessings that God has bestowed upon us.
