The WaterWatcher is designed to detect very small amounts of water on the floor and switch off the appliance that is causing the leak. It very easy to install. Just place the sensor puck on the floor where the risk of leakage is greatest, plug the control module into the 120 VAC outlet, and plug the appliance into the control module. Under normal conditions, the output of the WaterWatcher is on, and power is supplied to the appliance. But as soon as water is detected, the output switches off and an alarm is sounded. The switch stays in this state until its reset by unplugging it and plugging it back in. For use with 120 VAC 14 Amp max appliances. Comes with 12' sensor cable.
