Falling Up was an American experimental rock band from Oregon whose music was based on Christian roots but evolved through a number of style transformations from nu-metal to rap-rock to electronic rock and morphing into an ambient pop/indie rock sound when the band dissolved . Falling Up formed in October 2001 and released their debut album in 2004. The band's name is derived from the first song they wrote, which refers to how imperfect people are, but how sufficient the grace of God is to compensate for it. In harmony with their name, their lyrics are heavily grace-themed.
