In the aftermath of Pearl Harbor, in this version of history, Halsey doesn’t step down from command of carrier forces because of health issues and leads the force at Midway. In this version of history the Japanese win and Halsey must fight with his every instinct and escape with what's left of the fleet with a darning maneuver.</span></span>
