Zirkon Records was an independent Canadian record label based in Montreal and set up in late 1960 by Abby Smollan and Art Young, both formerly of Phonodisc and Morris Distributing. By 1963, Zirkon Records had been disbanded but the catalog remains a time capsule of Canadian popular-music taste during it's brief period of activity.
