Masterworks Broadway proudly releases Godspell - The 40th Anniversary Celebration, a special 2-CD package containing both the Original Cast Recording and the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Both recordings, beloved since their vinyl releases in 1971 and 1973, have been remastered for the very first time. This new collection features a new liner note from composer Stephen Schwartz and comes out in advance of the first ever Broadway revival, which begins performances in New York City s Circle in the Square Theatre in October.
