The hood switch problem on Land Rover vehicles has become so common, Land Rover has revised this part to combine the passenger/right side switch/sensor and latch together. A hood switch alone is no longer available separate. This new setup replaces the right/passenger side hood latch. When the sensor fails, the "Bonnet Open" dash light may stay on or the alarm intermittently sounds for no apparent reason. This simple, inexpensive part could be all you need. Fits all LR2, LR3, LR4 and Range Rover Sport models from 2005 onward.
