2014 two CD set. In 1978, Virgin Records launched a label that soon became widely regarded as the most influential imprint of the Roots Reggae era: Front Line. It's brief but glorious existence is celebrated with this themed collection. FRONT LINE PRESENTS DUB brings together 40 of the heaviest Dub sounds of the era, mixed, produced performed by some of the greatest Jamaican music makers of the period, with five previously unreleased tracks among the 26 recordings that appear on CD for the very first time.
