Ronnie Laws was an early member of Earth Wind & Fire and a Jazz Funk pioneer who first made his mark as a solo artist. His distinctive, signature playing style is extremely soulful, sophisticated and easily identifiable. Ronnie Laws retained a connection with his former group through an affiliation with keyboard whiz Larry Dunn whose intense playing on both these albums is a perfect backdrop for Ronnie's superior saxophone and unique vocal style.
