This lightweight lens hood for the Sony RX1/RX1R helps protect the cameras lens from impact shock and dust as well as prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. Specially redesigned and made of metal, this hood is ideal for all Sony RX1/RX1R photographers. Inspired by the Leica design, the rectangle shape will cut overhead glare and significantly lowers the chance of vignetting at wide angles. The cut-out portions of the hood do not interfere with the infrared sensor on the camera.
