American born, Canadian raised actor/singer/songwriter Sheldon Allman appeared in countless movies and television series during the 1960's and 1970's as a character actor and holds the distinction of being the singing voice of TV's Mr. Ed, the talking horse (he also wrote the songs Mr. Ed sang).
