These candle holders are made of delicate Capiz, which is the outer shell of a marine mollusc with the scientific name Placuna Placenta, also known as the windowpane oyster. They can be found in the shallow coastal waters of the Philippines. To clean the holder, just wipe it with a damp cloth. Each candle holder has a diameter of approximately 8 cm (3.25 inch).
