This is a universal floor jack pad adapter meant to protect the pinch weld/seam on your vehicle from damage when being jacked. <p>May also be used on painted suspension components like those found on Hot Rods or Custom Cars.</p> Most automobile manufacturers recommend that a vehicle be jacked by its pinch seam, unfortunately most floor jacks have a flat steel jacking pad, this often damages the vulnerable seam. This kind of damage can often cause rust and corrosion to start to occur. <p>Unlike many other products on the market that are either made of hard plastic or aluminum, our adapter is made of solid rubber, making it much less likely to damage the paint or undercoat located under your vehicle. May also be used to protect other lift points on your vehicle from damage, such as painted suspension components.</p> The product is 100mm (about 4") in diameter and 50mm (about 2") tall. The slot is 18mm wide and 18mm (about 3/4 x 3/4) deep tapering to a point.
